Rig Tenders secures coal transport contract extension

IDX-listed shipping firm PT Rig Tenders Indonesia (RTI) has secured contract extension from South Kalimantan coal miner PT Arutmin Indonesia for coal transportation.
The company had bagged extending contract until 30 June 2014. Under the coal barging contract, PT Arutmin Indonesia guaranteed 8.5 million tons of coal to be transported annually.
RTI has been transporting Arutmin's coal since 2006. Arutmin obliges RTI to transport its coal from Satui and Senakin Barge Loading jetties to Pulau Laut Utara Coal Terminal.
PT Adaro Indonesia is another major client of RTI
