Rig Tenders to buy new ship worth US$15 million

Publicly listed shipping company PT Rig Tenders Indonesia Tbk plans to buy a new ship to strengthen its shipping fleet and boost vessel charter services for oil and gas companies.
Rig Tenders? director Wan Ruzlan Iskandar said in Jakarta on Monday that the company would spend about US$15 million to buy the anchor, handling, towing and supply (AHTS) ship.
?We hope the new ship can be delivered in the first quarter of next year,? he was quoted as saying by Kompas daily.
Wan said that the purchase of the new ship would increase the company?s shipping fleet to 57 units. (*)
