Integrated mining corporation, Rimau Group has doubled the coal output of its Central Kalimantan subsidiary PT Rimau Energy Mineral (REM) from a monthly average of 70,000 tons last year to 150,000 tons this year.
Vinsensius (one name), President Director of Rimau Group told Petromindo.com recently that the higher production volume helps compensate for the drop in the price of the commodity.
Meanwhile, coal production at its other subsidiary PT Senamas Energindo Mineral (SEM) has been maintained at about 300,000 tons per month, with a full-year target of 3.6 million tons.
?So far , about 70 percent of our production are being exported to China, Thailand and India,? Vinsensius said.
