Rimau Group expand jetty loading capacity

Mining business group Rimau Group is upgrading the loading capacity of its jetties in Talang Baru, East Barito regency, Central Kalimantan by installing a conveyor system.

Vinsensius, President Director of Rimau Group, told Petromindo.com recently that the conveyor has the capacity of loading rate about 1,000 tons per hour or 24,000 tons per day.

"We have also acquired one jetty in order to increase our loading capacity from 24,000 tons per day to 32,000 tons per day," he said, without specifying how many jetties were owned by the company prior to the acquisition of the new one.

Funds for the jetty upgrading capacity are part of the US$ 200 million capital expenditure that has been budgeted by the company in 2013.
