Rimau Group eyeing 6 million ton output by 2014

Integrated mining corporation Rimau Group is targeting to produce 6 million tons of coal in 2014 from subsidiaries PT Senamas Energindo Mineral (SEM) and PT Rimau Energy Mining (REM) in East Barito regency, Central Kalimantan.

Vinsensius, President Director of Rimau Group, told Petromindo.com on Wednesday that the company is expecting 5 million ton output from SEM and one million ton from REM.

Vinsensius added that currently SEM?s production is stable at 400,000 tons per month while REM?s output is stable at 75,000 tons per month.

He revealed that in line with the plan to ramp up the output, the company is increasing the loading capacity at its Talang Baru jetty from 24,000 tons per day to 48,000 tons per day.

"We are also enlarging our stockpile up to 110 hectares at Talang Baru," he said
