Integrated coal mining corporation, Rimau Group, plans to produce about 2 million tons of coal next year, or the same as this year?s target.

?In 2015 our target of production is around 2 million tons, and we will maintain this target in 2016,? said President Director Vinsensius to Petromindo.com Monday.

He added that the entire output will come from its subsidiaries PT Rimau Energy Mineral (REM) and PT Senamas Energindo Mineral (SEM), which operates mines located in Central Kalimantan.

Vinsensius said that in 2016 the company will not be allocating budget for capital expenditure due to the current weak coal market condition. In 2014, the company produced 4.6 million tons of coal.
