Rimau Group to buy 16 sets of tug & barge to boost coal output

?Now, we are nearly completing the process of buying 16 sets of tug and barge,? Rimau?s Director Vinsensius told Petromindo.Com on Thursday without giving the name?s of supplier.
Rimau will boost its coal output from current total of 30,000-50,000 tonnes a month to 300,000 tonnes a month of low rank coal, starting at the end of this year .
Rimau Group has five coal mines in Central Kalimantan, which the company bought in 2007. At present, the company?s coal unit PT Senamas Energindo Minerals (SEM), which is located in East Barito regency has started its commercial production early this year.
Rimau Group has also cheduled to start productions from two other mines, PT Rimau Energy Mining and PT Barito Corindo Mineral,which are located in East and South Barito regencies. Both mines are expected to start coal production in fourth quarter of this year.
The remaining two other coal mines are still in exploration stage.(denny)
