Integrated mining company Rimau Group aims to complete the expansion of its coal stockpile facility in Talang Baru, East Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan, in the early part of the second quarter of 2014.
Vinsensius, President Director of Rimau Group, told Petromindo.com on Wednesday that the company is expanding the stockpile from 60 hectares to around 100 hectares as the company plans to ramp up coal production to 6 million tons in 2014 from 5 million tons in 2013.
Vinsensius said that the company has invested about US$10 million for the expansion project. "Hopefully in the early (part of) second quarter of this year the project will be completed," he said.
