Rimau Group to sign coal supply deal with Thailand buyer

Coal miner Rimau Group is expecting to sign a coal supply deal this month with a Thailand buyer, the company?s official told Petromindo.Com on Monday.
The company will sign 1-year contract with a Thailand buyer for the supply of 100,000 tonnes per month of low-rank coal. The supply is guaranteed to be of 5,400 kcal/kg (ADB) calorific value and 39-40 percent of total moisture (TM). , the official said without giving the name of the buyer.
Rimau Group has five coal mines in Central Kalimantan, which the company acquired in 2007. At present, the company?s coal unit PT Senamas Energindo Minerals, which is located in East Barito regency, has been in commercial production since early 2011.
