Rio Tinto Indonesia appoints director technology

PT Rio Tinto Indonesia appoints Dr Suseno Kramadibrata as its Director Technology with effect from 3 July 2000. In this position Dr Suseno will be responsible for technical matters concerning mining and environment. Dr Suseno holds a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from ITB as well as a Master's degree from Western Australian School of Mines and Doctorate from Curtin University, Australia.
Dr Suseno is still active as a lecturer and researcher in ITB as well as a technical advisor of LIPI Bandung. His placement at PT Rio Tinto Indonesia is part of the cooperation between the company and ITB.
Rio Tinto Indonesia's President, Noke Kiroyan, said "The appointment of Dr Suseno shows Rio Tinto's commitment and trust to the quality of Indonesian human resources. In addition to his responsibility in technical matters, Dr Suseno will also be actively involved in the Rio Tinto Foundation - ITB partnership program in human resource development."
