Risco sells stake in SES block to KUFPEC

Southeast Asia-focused Risco Energy Investments Pte Ltd. (Risco) has sold all of its interest in South East Sumatra (SES) block offshore Lampung to Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Co. (KUFPEC), said an official of upstream authority SKK Migas.

SKK Migas? spokesperson Zudaldi Rafdi told Petromindo.com that the operatorship of the block is still held by Chinese firm CNOOC Ltd.

He did not give details about the sale price of Risco?s interest to KUFPEC.

Zudaldi added that the letter of application for approval of the change in the interest holder in the SES block has been submitted twice to SKK Migas, which is on July 23 and Aug. 20, 2014.

SKK Migas finally decided to change the name of Risco Energy SES B.V. into KUFPEC Indonesia (SES) B.V. on the amendment to the Articles of Association of the block.

Now the composition of interests in the SES block is as follows:
