RNI?s mini hydro plant starts operation

A 7.5 MW micro hydro power plant in South Solok, West Sumatra, operated by PT Mitra Kerinci has started operation, Bisnis Indonesia said Wednesday.
Mitra is a subsidiary of state-owned PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia, which is engaged in agro industry, trade, and pharmacy. The power plant is located at RNI?s Liki plantation area, taking advantage of the strong current of the local river, the paper said. (*)
