ASX-listed Robust Resources Limited announced that its Non-Executive Director Andrew Wilson has resigned from the Robust board to pursue other business interests including an Indonesian-focused role with the company.
Wilson was appointed to the Robust board in January 2010 and has played a key role in the development of the company?s operations in Indonesia, Robust said in a statement made available on Tuesday.
The board confirmed that Wilson?s Indonesian related skills and experience will not be lost to the company as he has accepted the important leadership role of Commissioner of PT Gemala Borneo Utama (PT GBU), the local Indonesian subsidiary that owns the mining rights over the Romang Island projects.
?Robust has a broad portfolio of projects in Indonesia, Philippines and now the Kyrgyz Republic, in various stages of development. As the company advances these projects, the composition and structure of our board is a key priority and we constantly review this to ensure we have the right mix of skills to develop our project portfolio,? said Robust Chairman David King.
