Robust conducting feasibility study in Romang project

Robust Resources Limited reported on Thursday that assay results from eight drill holes from Manganese Valley prospect on Romang Island showed high grade manganese intersection.
With the strong results, Robust has taken the decision to accelerate feasibility and commercialisation studies, which have now commenced.
It said that the north-south cross section shows a continuous horizon of strong manganese mineralisation over 350 meters, which remains open to the south.
While the east-west cross section shows a zone of manganese mineralisation, thickening and open to the east, which also overlaps the Batu Hitam gold-silver orebody to the west.
Robust Managing Director Gary Lewis said that ?This is a significant development for the Company, as further success in our manganese drilling program is a catalyst for Robust to accelerate commercialization of a low CAPEX manganese mining operation, which may in turn provide a cash-flow to fund development of our other mineral discoveries on Romang.
?Conceptually, the development of Romang could commence with a very low capital manganese mine which should provide capital funding for the construction of the oxide gold silver heap leach operation followed by a larger polymetallic mine. At each stage there is an opportunity to re-use infrastructure, thereby engendering substantial capital savings, high efficiency and a large mitigation of risk.
?As well as progressing ore beneficiation and marketing studies, further drilling of the manganese mineralization is now the key priority for the Company. We will update shareholders in the near term on the outcomes of these studies and additional assay results.?
