Highlights of the metallurgical testwork on 11 composite oxide samples are: Average Gold recovery = 94% (range 88%-98%); Average Silver recovery = 95% (range 90%-100%), the company said.
?These exceptionally high extraction rates for gold and silver in the near-surface mineralised zone affirm that the Romang ores will likely be highly amenable to standard processing techniques such as Carbon in Pulp (CIP), Carbon in Leach (CIL) or heap leaching,? the company said.
The metallurgical testwork was undertaken by Intertek Indonesia, an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory, and involved standard 36-hour sodium cyanide bottle roll tests; on hole-by-hole composite samples, compiled from splits of all individual original assay reserve/library samples comprising the mineralised intersections
Robust plans to conduct additional metallurgical tests on both drill-core and bulk samples as the exploration programme on Romang Island gathers pace over the coming months.
The company acquired the 25,000 hectares prospect in 2008. (alex)
