?The results continue to extend the mineralised area within Lakuwahi and to validate Robust?s exploration strategy of working systematically from the known to the unknown to obtain essential knowledge of the geological setting and controls on the mineralisation, leading to ongoing exploration success,? the company said.
The latest gold-silver intersections at Batu Hitam are as follows:
LWD 039: From 2.35 to 27.35m: 25 metres at 1.64 g/t Au Equivalent (1.27 g/t Au & 22 g/t Ag)
LWD 040: From 5.0 to 29.5: 24.5 metres at 1.62 g/t Au Equivalent (0.78 g/t Au & 50 g/t Ag) Including: From 5.0 to 11.0: 6.0 metres at 2.40 g/t Au Equivalent (1.98 g/t Au & 25 g/t Ag)
LWD 041: From 12.0 to 14.0: 2.0 metres at 1.42 g/t Au Equivalent (1.29 g/t Au & 8 g/t Ag)
The company has also resumed drilling to extend the mineralised-zone on the Batu Mas prospect, begun preparations for drilling on the Batu Jagung prospect and committed to a high-resolution 3D Induced Polarisation Resistivity survey that will cover most of the Lakuwahi Caldera.
The company acquired the 25,000 hectares prospect in 2008. (denny)
