ASX-listed Robust Resources Limited reported on Tuesday assay results for 5 diamond drill holes from the Purple Heart Prospect on Romang Island showing intersected potentially economic mineralisation.
It said that the assay result implicated for the continuity of the emerging mineralised zone.
Robust?s Managing Director Mr Gary Lewis said ?Our active exploration program at Romang Island continues to define further mineralisation, and this confirms that we are still in the very early stage of defining the extent of the mineralisation on the island.
?Importantly, the addition of more near-surface mineralisation will add to our gold-silver mineral resource, and this gives us increased confidence in our ability to develop the planned low-cost heap-leach gold mining operation, the first mining project to be developed on Romang by the Company.
Robust has seven rigs operating on Romang Island and the company expects to report additional assay results in the coming weeks.
