ASX-listed Robust Resources Limited said on Tuesday it would continue its drilling program at its current high level of seven drill rigs with the potential to increase to eight.

The company said that two rigs will continue to test the exciting Purple Heart/Batu Perak prospect with particular emphasis on exploring for potential massive sulphide lenses in the Lakuwahi Volcanic?s paleo-horizon within the Batu Perak Basin.

"Two drill rigs will continue to define the extent of the manganese resource in Manganese Valley; one drill rig will be used to define continuity of mineralization between the Batu Hitam West and Batu Hitam JORC models," the company said.

The remaining drill rig will continue to test the Batu Putih prospect, which has the potential to represent a northwestern extension of the Batu Mas JORC model.
