Rolls Royce to conduct feasibility study on Riau power plant

Britain?s company Rolls Royce plans to carry out a feasibility study on the construction of gas or combined cycle power plant in Riau, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Tuesday. The plant which will have a capacity of 40 MW will be built in the province?s Pelalawan district.
Harliyan Saleh, the chairman of the province?s investment office said in Pekanbaru on Tuesday that the provincial administration had agreed to cooperate in the development of power plants in the province?s potential areas.
"For the initial stage, Rolls Royce will carry out a feasibility study on the construction of a gas power plants in Pelalawan which will have a capacity of between 30 and 40 MW," he said. (*)
