Rotary Engineering awarded US$17.5m contract for Lamongan logistics hub project

Singapore engineering company Rotary Engineering Limited (REL) said Friday its Indonesian subsidiary, PT Rotary Engineering Indonesia, had been awarded a US$17.5 million contract for the development of a world-class integrated logistics hub in Tanjung Pakis, Lamongan regency, East Java.
PT Rotary will undertake the engineering design of the supply base as well as providing project and construction management expertise, REL said in a statement to the Singapore Stock Exchange.
The 140-hectare logistics hub, which is being developed by PT Lamongan Integrated Shorebase, will provide a one-stop hypermarket offering a wide range of services to the oil-and-gas operators, service companies, suppliers in East Java and the East Indonesia regions.
The complex is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2006. (robert)
