Rukun Raharja ready to make bid for Jawa-1 power plant project next month

IDX-listed Rukun Raharja (RR) said it is currently making preparations to make bid submission next month in a tender for the estimated US$1.8 billion Jawa-1 combined-cycle power plant project held by state-owned electricity firm PT PLN.
Rukun Corporate Secretary Cindy Budijono told Petromindo.com that the company is teaming up with Mitsubishi Corporation and PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB), a subsidiary of PLN, in the tender for the 2x800 MW power plant project located in West Java.
?RR is part of a consortium together with Mitsubishi Corporation and PJB for the tender of Jawa-1 IPP. The consortium has passed the prequalification stage, and is currently making preparations to make bid submission on July 25, 2016,? Cindy said.
