Rukun Raharja to start Gresik gas pipeline project January

IDX-listed PT Rukun Raharja Tbk said that construction of the planned 20-km gas pipeline in Gresik, East Java, is expected to start in January of next year, with completion targeted in September.
The company said in a statement Friday that the US$22.9 million pipeline will be used to transmit 15 mmscfd of gas from the Bukit Tua field in Ketapang Block, operated by Malaysia?s Petronas, to state-owned electricity firm PT PLN.
Rukun Raharja through subsidiary PT Triguna Internusa Pratama actually won the project in 2012, and initially targeted to complete the project in the second quarter of 2014.
