S. Kalimantan offered cooperation to produce coal briquette for metal plant

The Technology Assessment and Application Agency (BPPT) has offered the South Kalimantan provincial administration cooperation to develop coal briquette for a metal smelting plant in Central Java, South Kalimantan-based Banjarmasin Post reported on Wednesday.

So far, the metal smelting plant which is located in Batuceper, Central Java, had used coal briquette from Ombilin, South Sumatra.

BPPT deputy head Bambang Setiadi said on Tuesday the Batuceper plant required 800 tons of briquette per month. (*)
