S. Korea?s KOMIPO opens tender for 1.5 million tons of coal

for Bituminous Coal for Poryong Power Plant

1. Bid No. : KOMIPO-Coal-2004-LT01

2. Materials and Quantity to be Procured
- Materials : Bituminous Coal
- Quantity : 1,500,000MT (at least 500,000MT)

3. Procurement Method: International Bidding

4. Term of the contract : July 1, 2004 - June 30, 2007.

5. Application for participation
Any applicants who want to take part in this bidding should submit the document of
intention by fax no later than 6:00 p.m. on June 3, 2004 (Korean Standard Time).

6. Deadline for Bidding is 3:00 p.m. on June 4, 2004 (Korean Standard Time).

7. Qualification: Coal producers or marketing companies or traders those who shall
meet the whole requirement of ITB including but not limited to, coal quality
specification, shipping schedule, quality, etc.

8. Any applicant who wants to receive the relevant documents should inform us of the
company's name and e-mail address via e-mail to coolpark@komipo.co.kr.
