S. Korea's Kosep opens tender for 1.5 million tons of coal

SUBJECT : INVITATION TO BID for Steaming Coal for Samchonpo Power Plant

1. Bid No. : KOSEP-Coal-2003-6 (year term tender)

2. Quantity : 1,500,000MT - Bidders may offer 500,000 Metric Tons minimum in a lot of 500,000 Metric Tons on both FOB and CFR price.

3. Procurement Method : International Open Bidding

4. Delivery Schedule : August, 2003 - July, 2004 (1 year)

5. Deadline of Bidding is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2003. (Korean Standard Time).

6. Qualification : Coal producers or marketing companies owned by coal producers are qualified to participate in the ITB.
