S. Korea's Kospo opens tender for Indonesian, Russian coal

Subject : Invitation to Bid for Bituminous coal for Hadong power plant

1. Tender No.: KOSPO-Coal-2004-LT01

2. Materials and Quantity: Bituminous Coal 1,000,000MT

Minimum 300,000MT and Maximum 500,000MT

3. Procurement Method : International Bidding

4. Term of contract: October 1, 2004 ~ September 30, 2009

5. Deadline of bidding : 5 pm on 20th July, 2004(Korean Standard Time)

6. Qualification : Coal producers or marketing companies owned by coal

producers in Indonesia and Russia only are qualified to paticipate in the ITB.

Bidders shall be equipped with berthing facilities or coal terminals for

panamax-sized gearless vessels.
