S. Korea?s OCI seeks Indonesian coal mine acquisition

South Korean firm OCI Company Ltd is seeking coal mine acquisition and is looking for 400,000 tonnes per month of coal supply from Indonesian coal producers, the company's official told Petromindo.Com.
The official said that the mine must at least have a reserve of around 50 million tonnes of coal and can be greenfield. ?At present, we are looking around but there is no negotiation yet,? the official said.
The official also said that the company is looking for coal supply deal with reliable Indonesian coal suppliers. OCI is looking for coal with CV of 4,500-5,000 kcal/kg (GAR), the official added.
OCI is global leading green energy and chemical company. OCI produces inorganic chemical petro, and coal chemicals, fine chemicals, renewable energy and insulation materials.
