S. Korean firm eyeing N. Sumatra hydro power project

South Korean firm Daejoong Construction will conduct feasibility study to develop a 16-MW hydro power plant in Deli Serdang regency of North Sumatra.

Senior Advisor Park Sung Chur said that the FS will start in May with completion seen in November this year.

If the project is feasible, construction will take about 1.5 years, he said, adding that the company will team up with a local company. (bernard)
