S. Sumatra LPG plant to start production July

A South Sumatra LPG plant operated by a company called PT. Surya Eka Perkasa would commence production in next month.

Kompas daily quoted General Manager Vinot Laroya as saying that the plant would have capacity to produce 50,000 tonnes of LPG per year, 70 percent of which would be sold to domestic market.

Gas for the LPG would be supplied from Lembak gas field, which is scheduled to supply gas to fertilizer maker PT.Pupuk Sriwidjaja next month at the rate of 60MMCFD. (*)
