Saka Energi?s Q3 production increases by 11%

PT Saka Energi Indonesia, a subsidiary of state-controlled gas distribution firm PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk. (PGN), said oil and gas production in the third quarter (Q3) of this year reached 34,000 boepd, an increase of 11 percent compared to 30,000 boepd in the corresponding period of last year.

"Our oil and gas production in the third quarter has increased," the company?s Operations Director Tumbur Parlindungan said to Petromindo.com, adding that the increase was due to production from Pangkah block.

Looking at the current production performance, Tumbur is convinced that production will continue to rise until the end of the year. He is targeting Saka?s production this year will be higher than last year?s 35,000 boepd.
