Saka plans Papua drilling in 2018

Saka Energi will start drilling program at its Papua exploration block next year.
CEO Tumbur Parlindungan told Petromindo.Com on Saturday that exploration drilling at Wokam II block will commence in the first quarter of 2018.
Saka, an upstream unit of IDX-listed PT PGN (Persero) Tbk, holds 100 percent interest in the block. Saka acquired the block from Murphy Oil in 2015. Murphy had drilled two wells in the block but failed to make commercial discovery.
