Sakari?s unit bags 1 million tonnes of coal supply to domestic

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Jembayan Muarabara, a coal unit of Singapore-listed coal mining group Sakari Resources Limited, formerly Straits Asia Limited, has clinched a 1 million tonnes coal supply deal for domestic market, an industrial source told Petromindo.Com.
The source said that the deal has been contracted and priced based on government?s reference price (HBA). Of the total 1 million tonnes, about 600,000 tonnes will be supplied to the country?s second largest cement maker PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa and 400,000 tonnes to Sinarmas Group.
For Indocement, the contract is an extension to a previous years contract which has begun since 2008. ?Sinarmas coal supply deal is a new contract for Jembayan,? the source said.
Jembayan supplies coal to Indocement with calorific value of 5,600 kcal/kg. (GAR).
