Sales volume of non-subsidized fuel in Q2 reaches 7.67 kilo liters

The country?s downstream oil and gas regulator BPHMigas said that the sales volume of non-subsidized fuel products during the second quarter of this year totaled 7.67 kilo liters worth Rp 67.79 trillion.
State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina sold a total of 5.4 million kilo liters during the quarter, with total value of Rp 47.87 trillion.
Meanwhile, non-Pertamina retailers grabbed a combined sales volume of 2.4 million kilo liters during the same period, worth Rp 19/92 trillion, said BPHMigas, which made verification on 82 non-Pertamina retailers.
Director of Fuel at BPHMigas, Djoko Siswanto, however, told Petromindo.com Thursday that the market share of Pertamina shrank during the quarter due to competition from foreign players such as Shell and Petronas. He did not provide further details.
