IDX-listed coal mining contractor PT Samindo Resources Tbk stated that it is eyeing 10 million tons of coal getting from PT KIDECO Jaya Agung's coal mine at Paser Regency in East Kalimantan Province this year.
Investor Relations Manager of Samindo Resources Ahmad Zaki Natsir told Petromindo.com on Thursday that the company's coal getting volume target is based on request from its client, PT KIDECO.
"We are targeting to produce 10 million tons in 2017 which is the same as the 2016 production estimated at the level of 10 million tons," Zaky said.
He added that the total coal getting volume up to the third quarter of 2016 reached 8.5 million tons. He said that the 7.6 million tons figure reported earlier by this portal as the 2016 full-year coal getting volume was actually the estimated figure for the nine-month period.
"The fix number for the coal getting up to third quarter 2016 is 8.5 million tons, and we estimate that the total coal getting in 2016 will exceed 10 million tons, but the fix number will come out at the end of January 2017," he explained.
