Mining consulting, PT Samindo Resources Tbk, is exploring new contracts to transport coal of two coal mines currently operating in East Kalimantan.
"The two coal companies have concessions in East Kalimantan province," Samindo's Director of Business Development Priyo P Soemarno told Petromindo.com on Friday, but declined to name the two companies. "We expect to reach the agreement soon this year," he said.
Samindo has four subsidiaries dealing with mining activities including overburden removal, coal production and coal transport. They are Sims Jaya Kaltim, Transindo Murni Perkasa, Samindo Utama Kaltim and Mintec Abadi.
