Samindo Resources reports lower coal-getting volume

IDX-listed coal mining contractor PT Samindo Resources Tbk said that coal-getting volume last year was 10.9 million tons, lower than the previous year?s 11.3 million tons.
"We produced lower output due to the strategy of our client of reducing production last year," Samindo Investor Relations Manager Ahmad Zaki Natsir told Petromindo.com on Monday.
He added that in 2016 Samindo was able to book coal hauling volume of around 27.3 million tons, compared 31.7 million tons in 2015.
Meanwhile, overburden removal volume last year reached 48 million bank cubic meters, compared to 57.1 million bcm in the previous year.
Samindo manages coal mine owned by PT KIDECO Jaya Agung at Paser Regency in East Kalimantan Province.
