IDX-listed mining services company PT Samindo Resources Tbk aims to increase its coal getting volume to about 20 million tons this year from PT Kideco?s coal mine in Batukajang, East Kalimantan. This is a 66.66 percent increase from 12 million tons last year.

Priyo P. Sumarno, the company's Business Development Director told Petromindo.com on Monday that the company obtained additional contract to increase its coal getting from Kideco as the client considered Samindo to have shown good performance in 2013.

"We are being tested by our client with this additional capacity, and this is a challenge for us,"Priyo said, adding that apart from increasing the coal getting, the company is also targeting to increase the overburden removal from 40 million bcm in 2013 to 50 million bcm in 2014.
