Samindo Resources to spend US$ 25 million for fleet expansion

IDX-listed services mining company, PT Samindo Resources, Tbk has budgeted US$ 25 million in capital expenditure to purchase several hauling trucks to support PT Kideco Jaya Agung's coal mine in Batukajang, East Kalimantan in 2014.
Priyo P. Sumarno, the company's business development director told Petromindo.com on Tuesday that the company will add about ten to 15 trucks to its armada
"We also want to add several excavators," he said adding that currently the company is operating 38 trucks each with the loading capacity of about 120 metric tons.
"Each truck has two trailers so it can load more than 100 ton," he said adding that Samindo is the only company in Indonesia using such kind of truck.
