IDX-listed coal mining contractor PT Samindo Resources Tbk is targeting overburden removal volume of up to 48 million bank cubic meters (bcm) this year from coal mine in Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, owned by client PT KIDECO Jaya Agung.
Investor Relations Manager of Samindo Resources Ahmad Zaki Natsir told Petromindo.com recently that this target is slightly higher than the realized overburden removal volume in 2016 of around 47.3 million bcm.
"The realized overburden removal in 2016 exceeded the target as we were eyeing around 45 million bcm," he said, adding that in 2017 the company is eyeing coal hauling target of as much as 27 million tons, or the same target as in 2016.
