Samudera Shipping to add coal vessels to its fleet

SGX-listed shipping firm Samudera Shipping Line Limited announced Wednesday that it had entered into contracts to build four self-propelled barges, for coal and container transportation which are expected to be delivered at end of 2005.

?These carriers are intended to serve domestic operations within the Indonesian region,? the company said without revealing further detail. (alex)
