Samudera to receive bulk carriers H1 2011

Singapore-listed Indonesian shipping firm Samudera Shipping Line Limited reported on Friday that it would receive delivery of two Supramax bulk carriers with a carrying capacity of 57,700 dwt each in the first half of 2011.
Upon delivery, Samudera plans to deploy these vessels on time charter contracts, it said without disclosing the customers.
The company also said that in view of the implementation of the cabotage law for off-shore business activities in Indonesia in 2011, the it is actively exploring opportunities in off-shore support services.(alex)
