Sanaman Coal budgets $18m for infrastructure in Musi Banyuasin

Emerging coal mining, PT Sanaman Coal has budgeted US$18 million in capital expenditure for infrastructure development at its coal concession in Musi Banyuasin, South Sumatra in 2015.
Ben Lawson, Chief Operating Officer of Sanaman Coal, told Petromindo.com on Tuesday that the funds are entirely allocated for the development of hauling road and jetty at Sungai Lalan, South Sumatra.
?The capex will be used for developing the second and third phase of hauling road with a total length of 37 kilometers,? he said adding that beside developing the hauling road the company is also developing a jetty. ?The jetty will be used for a multiple commodities, not only coal commodity,? he said.
Earlier, Ben stated that the company was targeting to commence production this year. The company has obtained the CnC status last August and the ET license by the middle of last September from the government. The company has 9,871 hectares of coal concession with a calorific value of 3,600 GAR.
