Sanaman Coal eyeing 1 million tons output in 2015

Coal mining firm PT Sanaman Coal is eyeing one million tons of annual output from its concession in Musi Banyu Asin, South Sumatra, when it starts production next year.
Ben Lawson, Chief Operating Officer of Sanaman Coal, told Petromindo.com on Tuesday that the company is targeting to commence production in the first quarter of 2015.
?We are still on track for commencement of production by first quarter next year as we are in the finalization of obtaining all the licenses needed,? he said, adding that the development of infrastructure facilities such as hauling road is still on going and is on track to be ready in the first quarter 2015.
The company has obtained the ?clear and clean? status for its concession in August and obtained registered exporter status in the middle of September 2014. The company operates a 9,871-hectare concession, containing coal with calorific value of 3,600 kcal/kg GAR.
