Emerging coal mining company PT Sanaman Coal is targeting to commence coal production from its concession in Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra, in the first quarter (Q1) of 2015.

Ben Lawson, Chief Operating Officer of Sanaman Coal, told Petromindo.com recently that the company has just completed the land acquisition process.

?Now we are starting to develop the hauling road, hopefully by the first quarter of 2015 we will have our maiden production,? Lawson said, adding that the coal calorific value at its concession is 3,600 kcal/kg (GAR).

Lawson said that the company obtained in August the ?clean and clear? certificate for its concession, and the export permit in the middle of September. The company operates a 9,871-hectare concession.
