Sandiaga Uno resigns as director of Adaro

IDX-listed coal giant PT Adaro Energy Tbk announced Monday that Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno has resigned from this post as Director for General Affairs at the company.

The company said that it received the resignation letter on April 16, and would schedule a shareholders meeting to appoint a replacement. It did not say the reason for Sandiaga?s resignation.

Sandiaga, 44, a noted businessman, and Edwin Soeryadjaya co-founded in 1998 Saratoga Capital, a shareholder at Adaro. The investment firm has interests in other companies.

According to Adaro website, Sandiaga also serves as Director of PT Alam Tri Abadi, President Commissioner of PT Indonesia Bulk Terminal, PT Jasapower Indonesia and Commissioner of PT Adaro Indonesia, PT Mustika Indah Permai, PT Saptaindra Sejati, PT Puradika Bongkar Muat Makmur, PT Adaro Logistics, PT Makmur Sejahtera Wisesa and PT Adaro Persada Mandiri.
