Sangasanga field oil output close to target

Oil production rate at the Sangasanga field in Kutai Kertanegara, East Kalimantan Province, as per February this year reached around 5,522 bopd, or 99.36 percent of the 5,558 bopd target. State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina said in a statement Friday that gas production reached around 3.66 mmscfd, or 70.76 percent of the 5.17 mmscfd target.

Irwan Zuhri, General Manager of PT Pertamina EP Asset 5, which among others manages the Sangasanga field, said in the statement that there are plenty of drilling programs by Asset 5 this year. “More than half of planned drilling programs of Pertamina EP are entrusted to Asset 5. This means that there will be plenty of drilling activities by Asset 5,” he said.
