Sangihe Islands govt still evaluating offer to manage local ports

The Sangihe Islands regency administration in North Maluku Province has yet to decide whether take up the opportunity given by the Ministry of Transportation for local governments to take over the management of local seaports in islands region.

State news agency Antara quoted Head of the Tahuna Port Authority, Mocodompis Muhaling as saying Thursday that the Sangihe Islands regency administration is still making evaluation.

“The Sangihe Islands regency administration has yet to make decision regarding the management of ports in islands region,” Mocodompis said. (*)
