IDX-listed firm PT Petrosea Tbk reported on Friday that its 50 percent-owned East Kalimantan coal mining firm PT Santan Batubara has lifted force majeure status on December 13, 2011 and has resumed normal coal sales operations.
Santan Batubara lifted force majeure status after local Kutai Kartanegara regency authority allowed partial barging operations to resume at Mahakam river, where a bridge collapsed in November 2011, killing more than 30 people.
Santan Batubara is also 50 percent owned by coal mining group PT Harum Energy Tbk.(romel)
