Santos delays E. Java exploration drilling program

Australian oil, gas firm Santos Limited delays 2-well exploration drilling program at Sampang PSC, offshore East Java that was originally scheduled to kick off by the fourth quarter this year.
The company in its presentation released Monday did not specify reason for the delay.
The company said the delayed wells are Pare 1 and Ubur-ubur 1. Each of the prospects is estimated to have upside gas potential of up to 50 MMBOE.
Santos is the operator of Sampang PSC with 45 percent interest. (alex)
