| Sampang PSC, East Java Basin. 1.6km E of Jeruk 1, 35.0km SW of the Oyong Field, and some 40km SE of Surabaya. Jeruk 2 ST4 is an appraisal sidetrack drilled out of the existing Jeruk 2 wellbore. | |
| Status at 0300hrs -- 14/07/05 | Open hole testing in Jeruk 2 ST4 in the primary Kujung carbonate objective over the interval 4974 to 5100 metres was curtailed due to operational problems. During the initial clean up period a mixture of oil and drilling fluids was flowed to surface at an unstabilised rate before the test was discontinued. A 178mm liner is currently being run prior to continuing the evaluation of the reservoir interval. |
